Been super busy the past few weeks and it looks like it will stay that way for a bit.

First some new stuff.

I recently did some printing for a fellow artist and the pieces turned out really awesome.

Screenprinted,spray painted,stenciled and hand cut into layers.

8×11 on 1/4 inch wood.

Four layers.1/4 inch between each layer.

Signed and numbered in an edition of 24.

The pieces will come in a screenprinted box with a chipboard screenprint and wrapped in newsprint.

That super ball was bought from a vending machine in the lobby of the hospital on the day I was born . I have had that super ball for 40 years.

Today is my 40th birthday! I don’t usually make a big deal about birthdays but this one is one of those “big ones”.

I will keep this brief but I want to just say thanks to all the people that have shared their insight,given me advice and nudged me along the way. Seeing friends stick to their ideals and carve out a life of their own has been inspiring to me. It can be very tough and sometimes very scary to choose a path that’s not the normal 9 to 5. Now at 40 I feel like I am just hitting my stride.

So to all my friends who are on this journey with me I say I love you and thank you.

Smaller versions of some pieces I made for a recent gallery show. The larger versions went over really well at the opening and I wanted to make a more affordable version with a bigger edition size.

This week I headed back to the shop and knocked out a couple of new pieces. These are large 22X22 inch versions of some smaller pieces from my recent show.I wanted to make something with more texture and something that looked old and weathered.I am pretty happy with how they turned out.
