The above photo is from the Salvador DalĂ opening at The High Museum of Art here in Atlanta. Eleven Atlanta artists were asked to work on dresses that would be shown during the opening party. When I was first approached about being in the show I was going to say no but I am glad I did it. I decided to push myself and get out of my comfort zone. The design isn’t out of the ordinary for me but working on a dress and being involved in a show with that high of a profile was a new thing. I was unsure about how this would end up but now that it’s over I’m pretty happy with how my dress turned out. The High was packed and from what I heard they had to turn tons of people away. In the end it was a fun experience. Thanks to all involved.
So stoked, wish I could have been there. And Sean almost got in a fight.
